In this way, the centaur brings together human beings, able to talk, think, and reason, with the strength and speed of a strong, swift animal.
Dragon Mythology 28 weeks 2 days ago: The dragon is my favorite mythical creature, probably because I was born in the year of the dragon! Also they are typically portrayed as having supernatural or spiritual qualities - nothing mundane about your average dragon!
Unicorns and Unicorn Mythology 27 weeks 11 hours ago: Unicorns are one of my favorite legendary creatures. They are basically white horses with a single horn. But they also have some special, supernatural abilities. Unicorns are always portrayed as good, unlike most of the mythical creatures of legend and lore. Also, unicorns are featured on the coat of arms of Scotland. So, unicorns are quite close to my heart!
