Counted Cross Stitch embroidery is a form of needlework where even weave fabric is used and fabric threads are counted before inserting the needle. The embroiderer uses printed charts which show how many threads to count to determine the placement of the stitches. Counted Cross Stitch is usually done on Aida cloth with embroidery floss, the number of strands of floss to use printed on the pattern.
