Professor Richard Owen, the man who named the giant lizards as Dinosaurs, in 1852, was given the task of creating 33 life size models of prehistoric monsters. He was also given the job of planning a time trail within which these monsters could be situated.
The Crystal Palace Park's Prehistoric monster trail is the final result :) Enjoy!
